Term 2 Week 1

This week ANZAC was the main focus. Liz Hooker worked with the children and with the help of Megan made a wreath of poppies for the school's ANZAC day ceremony.

This is the only photo I have. [Our I Pads are being updated with new apps and the settings have changed. So was not able to retrieve the photos I took of the ceremony.]
David and Matilda did a great job of taking up our wreath and laying it at the foot of these crosses.

Kelly Sports was a big hit with the children.

This week is pretty normal, sports uniform only tomorrow. On Friday its mufti for Benedict [Red] house only. Benedict won the most house points for Term 1. Also on Friday Angus Feary starts in Room 1 and its the PTA Quizz night. These nights area lot of fun!!!

Term 2 --2015

Hi All

I do hope you all had a relaxed holiday and are ready for a busy term ahead. Its an 11 week one!

We welcome Jessica Manuel and James Smith tomorrow and their families. 

I am writing a Term 2 newsletter which will go out to you in paper form on Tuesday.

Things to note for this week; 

  Tuesday--Sports uniform only.

  Thursday--Kelly sports are coming to work with our Rutherford team only. They will take the children for physical activities.

Thursday afternoon: I will be out of the classroom along with fellow teachers from the Rutherford and Sheppard teams for a course on working with I Pads in the classroom. [I haven't arranged a reliever yet.]

Friday: ANZAC service 9.45 am outside on the field, if wet in the hall. You are all very welcome. Children are to come to school in their school uniform. no sports uniform needed.
