Then there was the Production! I am pleased that you all enjoyed it. On Friday we did a PMI on the Production.

The children wearing the Yellow hats are sharing their thoughts on the good things that happened during the Production. The children wearing the black hat are sharing a few things they didn't like and Logan is sharing something he found interesting.

Positives
Minuses
Interesting
We all enjoyed performing our song.

Some children didn’t like the Pirate Hats with the skull bones on.
It was interesting wearing our costumes and seeing other children in costume.
Many of us loved the final song ‘Hoist the Anchor’.
Feeling nervous about going on stage.
Joshua thought the treasure chest was interesting.
Being on the stage for the first time.
When we were waiting in the hall with the rest of the school it was very noisy.
Sophie thought it was interesting that all the songs in the production were different.
Getting a treat after the show eg McDonalds.

Logan thought it was interesting that the mice had face paint on.
Events coming up; this week we have the Disco on Friday night. This is a fun event funded by our  PTA. It starts at 5.30--7.pm for our children. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. There will be teachers there and PTA to supervise.
Reports go home this Friday and on Monday and Tuesday of week 11 we hold Parent/Teacher  interviews. Please note school closes at 2 pm on both days! Spread the word to those who do not read the blog. For those children who are unable to be picked up they will be supervised to 3 pm in either the library or the hall.

The final event of Term 2 will be the Mid Winter breakfast hosted again by the PTA. Please read the posters on classroom windows.

Regards
Mary
