Term 4 Week 1

Hi All

I hope you all have had a well deserved break. Term 4 is always action packed and we are starting it with Athletics on Tuesday. I hope you all received the email sent out on Thursday by Jacqui Restieaux, detailing what your child needs to wear and bring.

If you haven't got it here it is;

Dear Parents,

A reminder next Tuesday 13th October (p.p Friday 16th) is our school Athletics Day!
We will begin at Hillmorton High at 9.25am. All the students will walk to Hillmorton and Year 1&2 will return by bus. We will be departing school 9.00am sharp please have your child at school ready to go.
The children are to wear a coloured T. Shirt representing the house they are a member of.

Please ensure the children have:
  • A water bottle
  • Morning tea and lunch
  • Sports gear: green shorts and house coloured shirt
  • School hat and sunblock
  • School polar fleece or tracksuit jacket

The boys field events will run from 9:25am to 11:40am and their running events from 12.05 - 215pm. The girls will start with running events in the morning and will resume the field events at 12:05pm to 2:15pm. Please find the  the programme for the day below.

The day will finish with a house relay involving a girl and boy from each year group.

Parking
Please do not park in the Hillmorton High School grounds. Parking is on Tankerville Raod. We will be policing this and have been advised by the school under no circumstances can we park in the school grounds.

Spectators
There will be an allocated space for spectating particularly during the running races. Please do not stand on the inside of the track.  Whilst we understand you like to see your children after their races can you please wait until the running events are completed.

Many thanks to the parent helpers who are assisting us on the day to ensure a smooth running event. It would not be possible without you, thank you!!

Please do not bring dogs to the grounds.
.
We hope you enjoy the day, and look forward to seeing you there!

Regards,
Jacqui Restieaux (Sports Co-ordinator)
